Arguably one of the most visual aesthetic pleasing areas in the UK, the rolling hills, tranquil woodland, and picture-perfect villages of the Cotswolds make the perfect autumn break. Walkers should follow the Cotswolds Way walking trail up to Pains wick Beacon for breath-taking views. There are many lovely pubs and luxury hotels to explore. Bath, England

What a way to spend your autumn holidays at Oktoberfest, the world largest folk festival with a substantial amount of beer and German food. The 16 day festival is truly massive and enormous fun.
